After a torturous 10-year wait, fans of the Backstreet Boys will be elated to know that the quintet is heading to Singapore come January 24, 2006, for a one-night only concert.After a five-year break since they released their last studio album, the boys have come up with their sixth album titled Never Gone and are embarking on their global tour.
Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson have together sold more than 80 million albums since their first foray into the music scene. Nearly ten years into the industry and a three-year break later, they're back with a more organic album, a departure from what they used to do.
"If we kept on doing what we used to do -- with the way music sounds today -- people wouldn't care anymore. We had to step ahead of ourselves," explained Littrell about the change in their musical style.
Aside from the concert, fans can also look forward to the release of the repackaged Never Gone album, which will come with a bonus DVD that contains exclusive footage of the boys' live performances, behind-the-scene moments, and the music videos of the tracks "Incomplete," "Just Want You To Know," and "I Still."
