I have a few Qs to ask you first. 1. does the www.at-asia.org is still available? 2. What is the Fee? 3. Will you guide me on the SQL dump method, cos me not to IT savvy. Thanks!

1. I stopped paying for at-asia.org so it should be available and up for grabs
2. I dunno what is the fee, depends on which registra you use or promo with hosting plan and also if you use branded or unbranded service supplier and what kind of support you require.
3. SQL dump is a 'thing' not a method. there are many many ways to do it and its preferable whoever want to take over can make decision best suited for him/herself. e.g. windows or linux server? managed/unmanged hosting? forum board software? and all the other related things. It is not possible or time constructive to guide unless you are willing to find info on the net and also must have some very basic sysadmin knowledge.
Maybe can explain better with a bike analogy.... its like guiding someone who only know how to ride a bike on full bike repair and maintanance..... how do you tell him which screw to remove and all the things to look out for? as compared to someone already know how to strip the bike, its easier to just guide on how to maybe change something simple but still not easy to tell him how to change brake fluid, fork oil, valve clearance, etc.....
so i can tell you all you need to do is get a host, install all the components required or get them to do it, then assuming no format convertion is required, you just need to import the whole SQL dump. But this guide might not be useful as it involves lots of sub steps. if you really interested can meet up one day somewhere and sit down i answer your questions as best as i can. be prepared for lots of boring computer details.

OK guys, I browsed through the web, the company recommended by Enwee has one of the most attractive package US$7.95/month (must pay upront 2 years) so total SGD$320, it is not a big sum but also not that small sum of money; and this is only for 2 years. The way I look at it, definately will take some commitment, it maybe easy to start off but the hard part is on the maintenance as in monthly contribution for example. To be honest, this FREE site we are using is serving the purpose of us "gathering" and share all short of information. The drawbacks is the URL is kind of hard to remember or dont look 'cool' and we dont have Photo Gallery ( can always use offsite link tho... ) Unless we are really serious, if not i would suggest we stay here, untill this free site is taken away again. As today we have 90+ members (the active and real buddies probably about 20-30 members) if we collect $1 per month is more than enough for web hosting fees and still got extra to top up for our Annual AT Asia Chalet. Now, I commited myself on the Web Maintance and initial setup, (I will use the SQL from Enwee for the database and probably will modify a little) We all witness that the AT-ASIA members has become more than just about bikes, we are like friends and even family in some extend... OK, let's see some head count for members who REALLY willing to commit on $1 each month (please only write your name is you are serious) 1. Wesley - 96393693
