Am looking for a matching set of paniers and top box, to match a silver twin. (Would settle for black, if silver not available) Would prefer plastic type rather than metal, but whatever. Any suggestions as to what type, price range involved? Heard Hepco are good make.... are they readily available in Singapore? Must come with instructions and diagram for installation, as I'm not exactly a "rocket scientist" in the DIY world. 30-40L would be big enough. I checked through ATIC international connection website, although they have some beauties, I guess ordering from Europe would be a pain. Also, I bought a tank bra last time through Singapore from Motoworld, but forgot to ask about a tank bag, which obviously slips on the top into the 4 clips. Does anyone know if it's a reasonable size or even in stock at the moment? I know this has been gone through already on the old site, but could someone humour an old fool again please?!

Hi Don
The Hepco & Becker panniers are actually proven to be tough. I would recommend the junior boxes and a 40l ones cos it can put a XL sized helmet. It also comes with instructions and if you mechanically incline it should not be a problem cos no need to be a rocket scientist to mount it. But the down side though it's slightly on the high side for the pillion. If you have a pillion of my size then then thighs will be resting on the handle of the panniers. That's just my own opinion and I've seen a pannier survived a crash. I'll let the rest comments on this.

Hepco junior 40L-Tough,Stylish,Uniformed mounting, looks good on bike, not pillion friendly if your pillion got big butt,a little ex.
Givi rack + E36-Relatively Cheap and good, although not as sylish as the Hepco but practical for touring where you expect knocks and scratches.Set back is that it's not very sturdy if you use Givi racks.Alternative would be using Five Star rack or Givi Wingrack.
These 2 are the more popular brands.I have used both.I traded in my hepco for the Wingrack recently because it gives a more sturdy racking for the top box.
Unless you are installing Turbo or NOS into the AT,anybody who can differentite a spanner and a screwdriver is able install these pannier sets although some will take longer period.
