Hi guys...The base of my side stand break lah! Now can use it to stab vampire  ...Wanna know beside buying a new side stand,is there like anything else i could do like welding the base with something bigger and wider ;D ? If got,where can I get it done??? Regards...Irwan |

u still has the base? last time my xr4 sidestand break..i send 4 welding..mayb can ask the welder weld a bigger piece of metal at the base?i did it at tamp industrial park....can't remember how much it cost... if u 1 cheaper alternative..i got superglue..  |

Bro try asking Chan if he has any second hand side stand available. Ur bike too heavy. Scared later u park side stand, u come back, it lie side ways.

Yo bros! Finally i get the problem fix.Didn't realise it took me 2 months to deal with the problem  Me went to a welding shop next to dirtwheel (actually my 1st intention is to recce the Adventure 950 or issit the 990?till i spot the shop).I must say the old bugger did a very good job indeed.Not only did the base of my side stand is bigger and fatter,he even help me paint the whole damn thing black so now it looks brand new. ;D He charge me $15 so don't know i kena chop or not  but hey im really happy with the end result...  |

wah...wan now orang kaya...can buy adventure 990. wes the shop beside dirtwheel..thot its a car shop..so its between dirtwheel & gerry looi motor...got pic 2 show or not...if gd..can make 2.. |

Good that you get it fix and sharing the place and most important thing the price. The next time if you are doing any welding on the bike please remember to disconnect the battery, it's not good for the electronic stuff like the trip meter. It may cause a short circuit to the device. |

hehe bros no problem! anyway Din me no intention buying the Adventure lah just trying to get close and personal with the Beast...I must say just by looking at it make my heart thumping!

$15 cheap ah? So that old guy is honest too.Well I somehow got the 'please chop me' face so tats y quite worry...Very nice guy,thinking of him makes me smile...
