Hi Lim,I not too sure if Malaysians needs visa for Laos.Cambodia is definitely a must as far as I know. Can be bought at the Aranyaprathet/Poipet border in Cambodia.Cost if I'm not mistaken is abt 1000baht plus some tips to the unofficial 'officials' there.Passport sized photo is essential but if you have any similarity with the Thai King, then 100baht will do the trick. For me,I do have similarities with the King like having 2 eyes.1 nose and a bloody big mouth.
Laos, for SGP no need coz our gahment very friendly.hehe!I think M'sian oso no need coz they lifted the need for visa for Asean countries. Not too sue tho but can check.Just some legal fees to import bikes into Laos.Meet up with us on Christmas in Hatyai if you can.

If happen to be staying overnight at aranyaprathet/poipet border HIGHLY recommended is the Market motel!!! About 5km from border. 250Baht super big room with shelter bike parking at door and a very nice swimming pool! Plus superb charcoal style 2in1 steamboat at very very afforable rate!

Malaysians don't need visa for Cambodia since many years ago. Not sure for Laos but I think visa free too since S'pore was visa free 2 yrs ago.
